Your Tuscany vacation rental, a beautiful Villa in Chianti
A peaceful, beautiful ‘eco-resort’ in the heart of Tuscany
At Podere Patrignone we have 5 holiday rental apartments and a large villa for you to rent in Chianti, from a 1-bedroom apartment to a 7-bedroom farmhouse. Every apartment has en-suite bathrooms, full kitchens, are tastefully decorated and well equipped.
Podere Patrignone is a working organic olive farm, and we ship our spectacular extra virgin olive oil all over the world.
Patrignone is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and forest on all sides, yet it’s close to all the major sites. In a few minutes you can be in Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, or any of the dozens of beautiful hilltop towns that surround us.
The first ‘carbon positive’ eco-resort in Italy
At Patrignone we do everything we can to minimise our impact on the environment. We grow our own organic vegetables, collect eggs from our chickens, recycle 95% of our household waste, produce 20 kilowatts of electricity from our solar farm, and all our heat and hot water comes from our combined solar-biomass plant, using the sun and wood from our own managed forests. We remove more carbon from the atmosphere rather than we produce , making us the first carbon positive agriturismo in Italy.
So stay with us and you will off-set the carbon released by your journey, and your holiday choice will help the planet.
Amazing food in Tuscany
Many people come to Tuscany for the food and the wine. And we love both! Once a week we cook an amazing multi-course Tuscan Banquet for our guests that showcases some of the more unusual dishes you’ll never see in restaurants. It’s a foodie dream come true. Don’t miss it.
Patrignone is a family-owned and run concern, and we live here all year round. We very much hope you will enjoy your stay in our Tuscan oasis.

Pour the batter into a non-stick, or lightly greased and floured, 19 x 11 cm (7 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch) loaf tin and bake for 1 hour 15 minutes, or until the bread is cooked when tested with a skewer. 6. Leave to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool. Serve in thick slices with butter. Makes 8 to 10 slices. [...]
