Links and useful resources

Many thanks to our designer Andy Price, who has put hours of hard work into creating this site and our logo. May he be blessed with a thousand grandchildren and a long and happy life. Thank you Andy. Enjoy the toast.

Additional activities

Hedonistic Hiking, run by Jackie and Mick, put together custom-designed guided walking holidays in and around Chianti. So if you are looking to do some serious country walking, drop them a line.

They also do 1-day day excursions, walks with winery visits/garden visits etc with lunch and pick-up/drop-off included. Cost wass approx €120 pp fully inclusive, but check with them.

Bagno Tito

If you're heading to the beach, we always go to Castiglione della Pescaia and head to Bagno Tito. A great place for kids and a great sea-food lunch! Highly recommended!

If you are interested in bird-watching, there is much to see here. Peter, Verity's father, is a well-known expert in the field and is putting together a brief guide for us. Meanwile, the gallery shows some of the birds you can see here.

Thinking of heading up to Piemonte? Then check out this valuable resource:

Well worth a visit (OK, these are friends of ours!)
