The Green room, traditional Tuscany accommodation.

Our farm-house villa in Chianti

Patrignone is a 15th Century farmhouse and out-buildings that has been added to by successive Contadini (tenant farmers). This gives each apartment and part of the house its own special qualities, so we are sure you will find your own favourite place here. If you are looking for a villa in Chianti, we hope you'll find you like.

You can take Villa Patrignone, the largest space, for larger groups, or you can rent individual suites on a B&B basis for shorter stays.

An apartment in Chianti

As well as this, there are five other apartments, all with kitchens, dining space, and living space. Most have their own outdoor dining space, and all guests may use any of the public dining and recreational spaces - see Additional Facilities.

A celebtration in Tuscany

If you put all 5 apartments and the villa together, we can accommodate groups of up to 33 people. Patrignone is used in this way for birthdays, anniversaries, reunions and weddings. See Larger Gatherings.

Cramming them in with camp-beds?

Please, please, please don't ask us to stuff more people into rooms and apartments with camp-beds. Patrignone is a finely balanced eco-system. It just can't cope with the demands of excessive numbers of people. Plus camp beds are ugly! So we are pretty darn strict about discouraging such over-crowding. Very occasionally we will accommodate camp-beds for young children who need to sleep with their parents, but expect to be charged for this (see our price list).

What can we say but thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!
